According to ComingSoon.net, actress Allison Williams has been confirmed to appear in the second and third seasons of A Series of Unfortunate Events. Her turn as Rose Armitage in the Jordan Peele-directed thriller Get Out,  along with her starring role in HBO’s Girls, Williams catapulted her to fame and cemented her as one of the most sought-after actresses in the business.

Lemony Snicket’s 13-book A Series of Unfortunate Events books rank among the most popular children’s series of the last decade. The series follows orphans Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire as they evade failed actor Count Olaf, whom they suspect killed their parents. A bushy-browed Neil Patrick Harris stars as Count Olaf while Patrick Warburton narrates. Malina Weissman, Presley Smith, and Louis Hynes star as the Baudelaire orphans, with Nathan Fillion, Roger Bart, Sarah Rue, Tony Hale, and Lucy Punch joining the cast.

Season 1 covers the first four installments of the franchise while Season 2 will adapt books five through nine. The third season will cover books ten through thirteen, making it the show’s last.

Williams’s role remains shrouded in mystery, but viewers will find out when the show’s second season hits Netflix.

The first season is now streaming on Netflix. The second will stream March 30.
