More Atlanta is coming. ComingSoon.net reports that FX has renewed the acclaimed series for a third season. No release date has been set and likely won’t be announced for a while. The year and a half long wait between the first and second seasons suggests that audiences could endure a longer gap between the second and third seasons.

Atlanta stars Donald Glover (Earnest Marks), Zazie Beetz (Vanessa Keefer), Brian Tyree Henry (Alfred Miles), and Lakeith Stanfield (Darius Epps) and focuses on Earn’s daily life in the rougher parts of Atlanta. Glover created the show and served as executive producer on the first two seasons.

The series has garnered praise and attention from critics and fans all over the country, becoming one of the hottest, most talked-about shows to ever air on FX. Glover has won several awards for his acting and directing on the show, including an Emmy and a Golden Globe.

The first two seasons of Atlanta ran from September 6, 2016, to November 1, 2016, and March 1, 2018, to May 10, 2018, respectively.

A masterwork by one of the industry’s most impressive talents, the show aims to highlight daily life for black communities in urban areas.

Glover has also starred in Community, appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming and The Martian, and become one of the most sought-after writers and actors in the business.
