The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit

A spin-off of Dontnod Entertainment’s critically acclaimed Life is Strange episodic adventure series was announced and it looks bodacious. 

Battletoads

A new title in the hard-as-nails, beat-em-up franchise was confirmed on Microsoft’s stage.

Cuphead

A bunch of new enemies, bosses and a new playable character was confirmed to be coming to StudioMDHR’s indie platformer darling. 

Crackdown 3

A new trailer was unveiled for the recently delayed futuristic, open-world third-person shooter.

Cyberpunk 2077

CD Project Red’s next game following their hugely successful fantasy RPG, The Witcher 3, is the futuristic and dystopian RPG, Cyberpunk 2077.

Devil May Cry V

The fifth instalment in the demon-slaying action-adventure series received a reveal trailer. Devil May Cry 3’s director Hideaki Itsuno will return to direct.

The Division 2

An extended gameplay trailer for the sequel to Ubisoft’s online first-person shooter RPG hybrid was unveiled. The follow-up will be set in Washington DC and will launch in early 2019.

Dying Light 2

Techland’s sequel to 2015’s open-world survival-horror RPG was announced at Microsoft’s presentation. A new cause-and-effect gameplay mechanic was highlighted in an extended gameplay trailer. 

Fallout 76

A new trailer and some fresh details were dropped regarding Bethesda’s highly anticipated online survive-em-up. According to the developer, Fallout 76 will be four times larger than Fallout 4 – whoa!

Forza Horizon 4

The next game in the critically acclaimed Forza series was announced and is coming in October. It will be set in a rainy corner of the world called the UK.

Gears Of War 5

The hugely anticipated sequel to Microsoft’s fan-favourite third-person shooter was announced and received a gritty gameplay trailer.

Gears Tactics

A turn-based strategy game set in the Gears Of War universe was also announced for PC.

Halo Infinite

Another Microsoft tentpole franchise received a much anticipated sequel and it will see the return of uber-iconic character, Master Chief!

Jump Force

A brand-new anime arena fighting game was announced and will see Naruto, Dragon Ball, One Piece and Death Note combine for a four-way crossover in their very own spin-off title.

Just Cause 4

Rico makes his return from 2015’s open-world action-adventure game and it looks as suitably bonkers as ever.

Kingdom Hearts 3

A new Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer was showcased at Microsoft’s presser and it featured recognisable characters from Frozen and Wreck It Ralph.

Metro Exodus

4A Games’ survival-horror first-person shooter received a new trailer that spotlighted how dangerous the wastelands of a post-apocalyptic Russia can be. The game also snagged a concrete release date and will launch on PS4, Xbox One and PC on February the 22nd, 2019.

Ori And The Will Of The Wisps

Indie darling Ori And The Blind Forest received a sequel announcement and a beautiful, new gameplay trailer.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds

The massively popular battle royale game, PUBG, is receiving a new Sanhock map this summer.

Sea Of Thieves

A new trailer for recently released pirate-em-up, Sea of Thieves, premiered during the Redmond-based company’s E3 presentation.

Sekio: Shadows Die Twice (From Software’s New Game)

The Dark Souls developer’s new game received a reveal trailer. It’s confirmed to be published by Activision.
