Indie game developers Erin and Elijah Hamilton have announced a co-operative adventure game set between 1920 and 1960, The Oyster Hotel. Not much is known of the game at this time, but is described as “narrative-driven”, and comes with extremely high production values, considering the small scale of the team behind it.
The story will focus on a handiman and a radio producer who encounter “flooding, sleepwalking guests, ghosts, and power outages” that send players back in time, forcing them into encounters with mob bosses.
The game is set for release on the 15th of December, and can be played in single-player mode as well as with a friend.
