Naughty Dog’s sequel to 2013’s system-selling Sony exclusive, The Last Of Us Part II, has finally locked in an official release date. That’s right, the award-winning survival horror title is set to launch on February 21st, 2020.
The big news was confirmed at last night’s ‘State Of Play’ PlayStation event. Along with a freshly locked in launch date, the much anticipated action-adventure game also received a brand new trailer. Check it out below:
Interestingly, the PS4 exclusive’s file size is so large that it will have to ship on two separate discs, much like Red Dead Redemption 2. If it’s anything like Rockstar’s Western, one disc will probably be used to copy data, while the other will allow you to actually boot up the game.
On a more personal note, not only is the OG The Last Of Us one of favourite games of all time, but it’s also safe to say that it’s one of the most resonant story-focused video game experiences, well, ever. In short, we can’t wait to get our hands on Naughty Dog’s hugely anticipated follow-up. And we think you should be excited, too! Roll on February, right?
