For those who have spent the last few hours lamenting the end of The Mandalorian, fear not. The show’s creator, Jon Favreau, took to Twitter today to announce that the second season of his hit Star Wars series will stream on Disney+ next fall. The reveal comes less than a day after the first season’s finale became available for Disney+ subscribers.

Fitting cleanly between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, Favreau’s space western follows a Mandalorian bounty hunter who, while on a high-paying job, makes a decision that will forever alter his future.
The series has earned positive reviews, most of which agree that Favreau’s foray into George Lucas’s creation is quintessential Star Wars. It’s breezy, punchy, and brimming with all kinds of goodies for fans to find, analyze, and discuss. Basically, it’s everything fans want and so much more.
The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Werner Herzog, Nick Nolte, and Taika Waititi and features appearances by Bill Burr, Natalia Tena, Giancarlo Esposito, and Emily Swallow.
